Mr. Green began his career in the electrical field in 1977 for the Iron and Steel Industry in South Africa, graduating as an Electrical Engineer in 1986. He registered as a Professional Engineer in 1991 and then completed a postgraduate Business Management Program through the University of South Africain 1994. Ron has held several engineering and management positions within the Steel and Power Generation Industries.

From 1996, he consulted as an energy management professional in the de-regulating energy industries in Australia, South Africa, and the USA. Ron was part of the team that developed the world's leading energy demand side management software tool which was purchased by the US EPA and several utilities around the world. He assisted utilities--such as Energex (Australia), TXU (Texas Utilities), and PG&E--establish demand side management programs.

In 2001, Ron founded Green Energy Consultants (Australia) to provide a "Hands On" approach to the implementation of energy management solutions to large energy users in Australia, South Africa, and the USA.

In 2003, he expanded this approach to integrate new technology, energy procurement, and financing with the end user, establishing Energy Integrators, Inc.

In 2006, Texzon Utilities, Ltd. acquired Energy Integrators, Inc.

Ron has been a LEED accredited professional since 2004 and has been involved with several LEED projects worth over 1 billion dollars.

For over a decade, Ron has assisted Fortune 500 companies develop and implement cost effective Greenhouse Gas management strategies and programs for their organizations and is the founder of www.carbonmanagers.org.
